We are a community of people, founding a new society, our society. We work together aiming for (and turbocharging) our own economic independence!

The concept? Start a business in a fun and collective way. We are the actors running everything from A to Z, just for fun, while creating wealth and of course aiming to make money! How can we achieve all that? By:

• imagining and creating our own product, single, universal and declinable
• organizing an alternative channel distribution, where anyone could launch their trade unit, selling the product we have conceived; thus; anyone will be able to start their own enterprise!

On an individual scale, it’s just a little business but combining our energies it becomes a BIG business. “Penny by penny, laid up will be many…” The sum of our little gains will contribute to our shopping sprees, rents, holidays, trips and any expense we can account for… All the while having fun, establishing new relationships, freeing ourselves from a system not always fair to women – by being our own bosses! And this is how Babelbag was born. The aim is to reach out with others, to meet them, to learn with them.

We are an organization that considers trading as a tool of empowerment

Without trade, people wouldn’t go out of their homes, no one would communicate! It’s not only about “the Benjamins”. It’s also a human story, relationships, cultures that hit all the spheres of society. The way we see it:

• Trade is definitely an emancipating tool and it creates social links
• Word of mouth as a way to communicate
• Hand to hand as a way to distribute

This project is open source. We want to promote and advocate for openness, foster innovation and create a collaborative culture
